I just bought a basic Rockstar set - the color is a metal wrap faint green/gunbarrel color. What would be a good source to get more toms or something?

Watch Ebay. Apparently, you are searching for gun metal metallic (GMM) also known as gunmetal grey. This is tricky finish. In the wrong lighting, the vintage blue and vintage silver can look like a match. I bought a 16" floor tom from an 'expert' who said it was GMM. Turned out to be deep forest green!! You should acquaint yourself with the TAMA catalogs online at http://www.tamadrum.co.jp/anniversary/ then you will know the possible finishes and those that are 'close' and what to avoid.

You didn't mentioned what sizes you are looking for. A 8" diameter tom is a highly sought out item. Expect to pay about $130 for one. Lastly, the GMM finish also was available in the Swingstar line - but without the Star-cast mounting system so make sure it's a Rockstar with the Star-cast mounting.

I believe GMM was last produced in either 2003 or 2004.

Good luck!!!
