Hey there! I have been searching around for my next drum kit (Upgrading from Pearl EX Export) and Tama's Superstar Hyper-drives just draw me in. I have seen the videos and done some research and it seems that these are high quality and great sounding kits. Yet some good friends suggest I stick with Pearl and buy a Vision set. I can't decide!!
So some help would be nice please, let me know how your superstar kit treats you and how you would compare it to some of the other kits on the market.
I'm all for Tama, but I am looking for the best kit for my money.
All the best, cheers.

The Superstar is great value for your money and spec-wise the best kit available for its price; brich shells, die-cast hoops, wooden snare! But you gotta like it, try one out at a store and go with your own intuition!
