OK, so I have a standard Starclassic 6/12 x 14 Maple snare which I love, but for more aggressive music, it just doesn't cut it. So, I just bought a older Starclassic 6/12 x 14 brass snare on Ebay and got it for only $133. Why is it so cheap? Anyone have one or know something about this?

Because some people are desperately giving away stuff on eBay, the economy is bad, etc.

OK, cool. Just to let people know, this is a steal.I had a Mapex Pro brass which I paid more for, and the Starclassic is way better. It cut like a butcher's knife, tuned high or low. Perfect.
