[/QUOTE]

Thanks

In Belgium you can't find them. A few weeks before I had my Hi-Energy ordered by www.stokkenenvellendiscounter.nl (=Hit It) as a trial. And that worked out very well on the snare.

Last week I contacted dealers in Germany on search for Aquarian (and the lowest price for my stuff). Buth only PPC Music in Hannover sells them.

Hit It made me a nice price for all the stuff (around 1800 €) and they sell Aquarian. Buth there shop is in the Netherlands (almost at Groningen). So I made my deal there (in Belgium it will be 500 € expensiver ... also during the VAT which is 12% in Netherland and 21% in Belgium)

So I will never shop again in Belgium I guess.

Anyway I plan at the end of this year (beginning next year) a next trip to spend again a 1000 €.(I need 2 other crashes, 2 or 3 china's, some splashes ,...). And the third trip will be for a Yamaha DT Extreme electronic drum to practice and to combinate whit the Rockstar.

Anyone some cash, I can use ?

OK, thanks for your info!

€1800 worth of stuff?

What's that? The Iron Cobra, the cymbals and the heads?

I don't see Aquarian on that site btw

The 1800 euro certainly are certainly worth the stuff. (my Ergo rider is still in order and will be here soon ... I hope)

The Iron Cobra ? ... is a powerglide double

Heads ? ... response II on toms, Superkick II on bass and Hi-Energy
                on snare --> lovely

Sabians ? ... see info beneath pic.

Stokkenenvellendiscounter : go to "vellen" and click on Aquarian (not as a logo displayed). You'll see that they are much cheaper than f.i. Remo and Evans ... also a good thing.

That is a really nice kit Clone.

How does that Super Kick made the drum sound?

I have a rockstar as well and am in between the superkick II and the Emad

I need to check out my kit in a smaller room, but the SK II certainly takes my bass to another level. I highly comment them.

It makes my 16" deep drum 18" deep. I can tune the bas realy low now (or high whit a big boom).

I'm still checking out the perfect position of my beaters (centered, higher, lower).

Thnx ,

Next year I'll add an extra floor tom (18" x 16), 2 extra crashes (heavier sound), some splashes and cowbells and 2 or 3 china's to complete the acoustic part.
I've heard an explotion crash in store, and they're realy nice.

The electronic part would be for over a year I think. The Yamaha DTXtreme II-S would be nice.(2 above the floors and a 2 by the snare).

It would be an expensive drum at the end.

I have an 18"x 16" and it is really nice. I have it tuned super low and it just rumbles. It sounds mean when you hit that and the 16" x16" at the same time.

It will be a good investment

I hope Tama still will make them at that time .

A bubinga floortom would be fine as well .(only 3 times the price of a Rockstar)

Hi everybody.  I am new to this forum, but I have played Tama for 14 years.  I still play my original Rockstar DX set that I bought back in 92'.  I wish I could post pics right now, however I have torn down my set to clean and wax.  The kit is snow white in color and I had all of the drum hardware taken off and powder coated black. Can you guess my influence?   All toms including the floors have RIMS mounts.  I love this set and the thick rock sound it produces.  Anyways here is what it consists of.

Rockstar DX

10x10 Tom

11x12 Tom

12x13 Tom
