Nice kits guys... I have a swingstar with Aquarian performance 2 clears and super kick 2 bass heads. Mind_drummer, what head do you have on your snare??

Great head, I'm going to try thin modern vintage for my matched snare though. <br>

hey- im in the middle of un-wrapping my swingstars to get that nice wood look. i know nobody really notices, but the outer ply of it is very smooth and beautiful - ill post pics later <edited><editID>Bherget3</editID><editDate>2006-5-14 17:11:25</editDate></edited>

looks great, did you put a finish on the shell? if not, then you should clear coat it.

Did you remove the vent/badge gromet ?<BR> </P> <P>its an 05, and i have to tell you, its extremely hard ot get the badge off - lucky for my, my mom is a carver- I'll rip the badge off, and get a new gromment, then have my mom carve in tama swingstar and the serial number - You'll need 3 things to do it - screwdriver, long razor blade, and a whole bunch of patience! it took me 7 hours to do it. alone. but maybe thats cause I'm thirteen. But on the bright side, i can buy any color tom off ebay, cause ill be taking the wrap off anyway!</P>

Those drums look really nice,,you have done a good job and you should be proud. It is not easy taking badges off regardless if your 13 or 54. When I was 13 I could not walk or talk yet,,just started feeding myself at 12,,,,,,,, Good job dude<IMG src="smileys/smiley20.gif" border="0">
