Octoban Mounting

Looking at buying some octobans, but how can I mount them to a rack kit?&nbsp; I've seen pros do it various ways, but they also have a lot o help from Tama <IMG src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0">.&nbsp; Anyways I would just like some input on the matter before I go blow a buncha money.&nbsp; Thanks!

<P>well the easiest way would be to buy the octobans and take the upper section out of the tripod base and put it into a rack clamp.</P>

<P>Thanks, yea I'm looking at having them in a row like 1x4 instead of the normal 2x2 configuration that is offered with the 4 octoban holder.&nbsp; So just buy the octobans, get two 2 holders and then affix the upper section on the rack?&nbsp; With just the standard J24 clamp?&nbsp; Thanks again.</P>

well what i plan on doin when i get enuf moneys to get some, im gonna try to get them ordered without the mounts, and buy separate starclassic L rod mounts and install those on the octobans and use regular L rod tom mounts (2 double tom mount things)<br>cuz when i get some i plan on settin it up in a row also<br>

<P>i too will be doing it this way, but ill be ordering arcylic tubes from gold n times, and buying the hardware and mounting it all on the drum.&nbsp;i personally like the L rods because you can get better angles with the drums.</P>
<P>as i said, its all a matter of personally opinion and amount of&nbsp;money you have.</P>
