Hey guys, missin a few peices from when i bought it. But i'm trying to ressurect this thing and make it sound good again. Heres what i've got on it so far.

14x6 Swingstar snare Emperor x coated head
12", 13", 16" toms with weather king pinstripe remo's
22" bass drum with Aquarian superkick bass heads
xs20 sabians

Nice ol' pedal

Blurry, but you get the picture

Heres my bands myspace to get a listen to the set. This was recorded with one mic a good few years ago. i'll try to get an after demo. I'm not the best drummer, but i have a blast, so any critique is welcome. just not too much, i'm sensitive har har har.

Wondering if anyone has experience with the tuning range on this set. It seems i either get a high pitched dong, or a really crappy thud. Maybe i'm just not tuning that right. How i did it was i started with the top head, put it finger tight, then cranked each tuner like a quarter turn in a "star" pattern until i got resonance, then i tuned them all to each other, then matched the pitch on the resonant head. It came out pretty high pitched, i tried tuning the bottom head down a half step or so, and it was the same but kind of grumpy. Any tips, or am i just hoping for a sound that isn't possible on this drum set?
