As Tama Granstar were Xtra size it means POWERTOMS ONLY!
So you will never find a 12*8 or a 14*14 inch tom unless its cut down.
A 12 inch is 12*11 and a 14 inch is 14*13.
Try jammin jersey they got loads of Granstar drums.

The Granstar Custom (1989-1990) has a 12x8 tom, but it's hard to find. 14x14 tom was available in the same series but also hard to find. Cut down regular sizes, 12x11 and 14x13, is an option. I had done with one of my Granstars and it sounds great.
Grtz.

You can get everything from Tama exept the legs for the bassdrum.
If you can find a 24 inch hex I will trade for a 22.
I got 3 24 and 1 22 leg for my kit. The 24 is longer.

Actually, there are 14x14 Granstar toms. I should know, I have one. I have a Granstar Ext. Does anybody know, what that means? The bass is 24 and the toms are 14, 15, 16, all square size. Except for the bass, which is 18.

Hello everyone, I am new here. While I am trying to be respectful to the forum rules (I am not sure of them, and it is 3 in the morning, no one is up to ask and get an answer) I believe I can mention that I do have some granstars as requested. Specifically two 24x18 bass drums. Since I do realize that it may be a while before someone else looks at this post, you can also reach me at zahogues4@sbcglobal.net . I just thought it would be cool to let you guys know, because these aren't the easiest to come by !!

Sounds great.
Granstar were never made in 18 depth only 16 so 16 by 24 and a 14 inch tom is 14*13.
2 16*24 bass drums are a rare find these days.
I got some allready and they are killer.

When it comes to Tama you can never say never. I don't know Granstars real well but I can tell you during the 80's Tama would make WHATEVER you wanted, as long as you had the money to pay for it. I've seen so many drums that were "never" made. Things like 20 inch Cordia Artstar bass drums, Elvin Jones sized sets in Candy Apple red and so many other drums that were not listed in there catalogs. The 14 inch drum could be a 14x14 floor tom. It would be nearly impossible to convert a 14x13 to 14x14. Of course someone could have measured wrong altogether. I've seen that a million times. But I never discount anything until I see it.

Aje knows what I'm talking about. Only (known) man in world with TWO 20x16 Artstar Cordias.
Some Scammer has been posting Blakes black set on Craigslist all over the country trying to sell it.

Well, I just noticed the "attach" button, and when I tried to upload the picture it said the picture was too big to upload, I don't know how to make it smaller. So the best thing to do is just email me if you want to see a picture of the measurments on the bass drums.

It's possible to order different measures and sizes. In 1989 I ordered a Granstar Custom with a 22x14 bass, 10x10 and 12x11 single head so called concert toms and a single head 16x16 floor. The floor, for sure, wasn't a regular one. Sadly I sold the kit about 10 or 12 years ago You have to realize; special orders are more expensive.

Hi again, I forgot to mention: in 1989/1990 the Granstar Custom was avalaible with 4 types of tom size. Regular, X-tras, Square, and as Concert toms. Example: 14x10, 14x13, 14x14 and 14x13 single head. As you all know the Custom was a painted version. The "normal" Granstars were wrapped with a covering and the toms only available in the X-tra version.
But as I did say before; if you could/can spend the money, everything was/is possible at the firm with the strongest name in drums.
