Hi there,

I just recently bought a 10" tom to complete my set.Clap However its a different lacquer and at the moment I bought the tom I was under the thought my kit was a the Vintage green sparkle (a wrap). Now that I know its not a wrap, its Jade Green Sparkle Lacquer. I was hoping to get some advise. Can I buy the actual lacquer that tama uses? If so, where from. Or really, what are my best options?

Thank you for your time.

Here is the actual kit.

Try and return the 10. If that's a no go sell it. Buy a jade 10.

Well unfortunately, we won't give out paint codes or anything like that, most of our color options are unique and something we create, not saying in the least bit that someone would "steal" our colors, but it's our way of preventing that.

Not to mention, I'm sure as some others could chime in, taking the wrap off of a drum to refinish it with a paint, sparkle and lacquer would be rather tricky. If you want to go that kind of route, it might be beneficial to contact somewhere with a paint booth, like an auto body shop to see if they could paint match for you.
