All Birch Starclassics have been cut off. Sorry about that one!

Only what's in the price guide, sadly. They'll only venture into different sizes if it is Starclassic.

I would ask the UK distributer...we here are from the US distributor.

they would have a better view as to if they can do that for you

Thanks

You mean to say they wouldn't take some Silverstar or Superstar shells and put some Starclassic lugs on with some die-cast hoops? Bummer. How about if I make my Russian girlfriend go outside in nothing but a fur hat and take her photo? It's -25 today.

How about a B/B set with a 22x16 bass drum in piano black and decals instead of metal badges and made in Japan? You'll only get me going outside with nothing on but a fur hat for that one.

You know if someone in Japan opened an internet drum shop and shipped world wide they'd make a killing.

Both offers sound awesome, but sounds like I'm dropping disappointment from all angles in this thread.

1. Nope! They are made in an entirely different factory and they won’t do any custom requests. (one day we'll break them!!)

2. They can do B/B in piano black, made in Japan, and priced individually, but it will be expensive. If you're serious about a quote please confirm all sizes and I can get some numbers for you. They can’t do decals on B/B though..…we simply don’t have them for B/B anymore.

It's going to be some time before I order, and I'm over in Russia and would have to talk to my dealer, at least he gives me a good discount. He knows how much I love Tama. Thanks for the reply.

I have an sc performer in blue galaxy fade bought in 06. My dealer says yes, I can still get the blue galaxy fade in a special order, and you're saying you dont make the SC birch anymore.....hmmm....what shell can i get that color on then? I mean, you do still make birch shells. superstar etc. So im a little confused. I want to add an 8", and 18". I don't really care about the hardware, just the shell, and color. After 25 years with Tama, i'd hate to have to go to another company just to have 2 drums made.
any help would be appreciated.

You can probably get them made as Birch/bubinga drums.

It will make you want a BB set! I had an add-on BB as part of one of my kits. It fit well (8" tom)
