I think what ever you use that works is fine, with a cotton type glove you just have to wash them and they will last awhile.

My brothers thank you all very much, and for those who asked yes I am a big fan of Simon Phillips. It took 160+ days for kit to come in it was worth the wait it sounds amazing I would have never though Bubinga would sound so much different than Maple, the drums have rich low tone to them that is addicting they are coming from different place entirely than maple I am a BIG fan of Bubinga now and will never buy anything else.Guy's thank you again for your compliments it means a lot.

Thank you so much guy's,I waited for over 20yr for Tama to come out with a kit like this, back in the day it was Bird's eye Maple and now it's Bubinga I love the setup with the rack I think it is very clean!.I have owned a kit like this for over 20yr and find it kind of difficult to play a smaller kit so this is the cross I have bare LOL thank you Tama for making this kit for me GREAT JOB!!!!!

That is a beautiful kit,,,,I was wondering if the bass drums came with those gold reso heads or did you have them and put them on yourself? In my opinion the gold logo bass reso's ARE the best looking of all.
Tama drums are the best,,,just deal with it
