Yeah, I love the dark stain with the bright chrome. A very nice look.

I've yet to try it all set up, apart from last Thursday when I got them, did a gig that night but it still had the wrong heads on it. I've now changed them to EC2s on all toms, single ply Ebonys on the bottoms, Emad on bass drum & coated Ambassador on the snare; they ALL came with Ebony Pinstripes on them (which had to go!)
More pics/report to come...

first time out!

Very nice! I bet they will sound amazing with new heads. Congrats! Your band has some great looking gear. What kind of music do you play?

That is the Kenny Driscoll Band, our usual bassist is Burke Shelley (Budgie) but he is currently recovering from surgery. Kenny's old band was Lone Star (the original one!). We play rock/pop covers.
My main original band is GODSTICKS so I am looking forward to playing the new kit with them!
Cheers.

The Transparent Black is very classy looking.
My kit still looks great after all these years.
Enjoy yours for years to come.
