I own a starclassic mirage. It sounds awesome, and the tuning is excellent. The truth is, all acrylic shells now come from the same place, but TAMA hardware is superior. You get nicer lugs, die cast hoops, better mounts, everything is better. The die cast hoops are amazing. I tune the kit once every 2-3 shows. It just stays in tune. Also, the 14" floor tom has plenty of low end, and a wide tuning range so you can get a thumpy sound to ride on or the big thundering sound out of it. The kick sounds sick.
