Tama shell warranty.

I noticed when I got my new Starclassic Mirage home that it had a tiny crack on the inside of the 10" shell. The crack is minute and its doesn't go through to the outside of the shell. I was wondering what exactly I should do. I figured taking it back to the store wouldn't do any good as they don't exactly have another 10" shell to give me. Is there any type of warranty on the shells or anything? Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, for all Tama drums (which includes shell and hardware) and accessory hardware there is a warranty given by Hoshino USA limited to five years, begining from the date of purchase and for the original owner only.
All defect parts should be retuned to Hoshino USA, Bensalem, via your official Tama dealer.

Click here: Tama limited warranty, then click the link on top 'Read the Drum & Hardware Limited Warranty'. You might print it, when you take your drum to your dealer.

As far as it is a warranty case, and your drum is in the 5yrs. warranty time range, I think you have good chances to get it replaced. You could get add-ons for your set even in discontinued colors within 5 years, so you should get a replacement likewise.
