Looks great! I almost went for QMB bubes.

I'm confused about your comment... are you left-handed but play righty?

Curious also how you have that snare tuned?

Absolutely a beautifull kit! Congrats!

But I have two questions....

1. WHY would you use duct tape on the inside of those beautifull bubinga shells to muffle the kick drums? That residue is going to be a p.i.t.a. to remove if ever you needed to. IMO, there's got to be a better way. Even the residue from velcro is easier to get off.
2. I have no problem with folks copying famous drummer's kits in terms of set up, but some I've seen are all to identical. I'm curious, did you choose to set up your kit this way because it emulates Simon's kit, or, because it's actually comfortable to play in that configuration? I've spent hours getting my kit set up just right to where it feels the most comfortable. IMO, comfort far outweighs asthetics.

Thanks again guy's for the compliments.
TamaDude to answer your questions the kit is very comfortable to play for me, as I added items to my original setup like the Gong drum and the second hi-hat it just added more color to the kit in terms of sound the kit is very easy to play for a left handed person once you get use to were every thing is,besides this kit would be a waste if I could not use it all and I can. About the duct tape the glue,it comes off easily with W-D 40 so it is not a problem.

That is such a beautiful kit, it seems such a shame to have it hidden behind those rack bars...While mine is still a work in progress, I'm trying as hard as I can to make the drums the star and not the scaffolding :)

Starclassic Maple Marine Blue Fade with Gold hardware - Wanting 16x15 TT no SFR with or without hardware
