I used my jazz kit last night to record a rock track. The drums sounded GREAT. I'm looking forward to expanding my kit and keeping the Silverstar in my lineup.

Now, if only you would make my custom toms... Dance

I was looking at the Silverstars before I got my Starclassics. They are nice kits.

The only reason I used my Silverstars is that my SC Bubs are not here yet.

Hey, thought I'd chime in....I had Tama Japan Starclassic Birch back in 2002-3 and maaaan did they record nice. Silverstars are very impressive. Hoops look a little "cheesy" and the color palette hopefully will improve, but you can't beat the price.

But......
After 6 months, I just received my Bubinga Elite Hyperdrive in Quilted Mocha Burst !!! 6.5x10,7x12, 12x14 floor 14x16 floor and 18x22 kick and an Explosive Fraser Moore Bubinga snare and Kaaazaaam!!!
My band can't believe the different in sonic sound!!!

I had my first Tama's back in 1976, a Platina Superstar Melodic Tom Mega set (and lots of hair too LOL), baby....TAMA has come a long way!
