Which heads would you recommend on Granstar

Hello,

I just bought a piano black Granstar shell kit (22-12-13-16).
I saw that the former owner has replaced the tom heads with coated Aquarian Vintage heads.
Is this a good idea ??
In fact I would like to have agressive sounding drums.
Which heads would you recommend, or should I stick to the Aquarians ?

I liked my Granstars with clear emperors on top and clear ambassadors on bottom side. They just worked great on my kit. Attack and sustain were in the right balance for me, with enhanced tone out of the drums.

Depends on what sound you are after and whether or not you are playing live and want and need the "Projection". Miked or un-miked.
I always seem to go back to Remo Pinstripes....
