The desciption in the Tama catalogue for the Artwood Custom maple snare says
- 'A slightly thicker shell......' Shell: 7ply/6mm

The Starclassic Maple snare shell is 8ply/7mm

So what maple shell is the Artwood slightly thicker than???

I'm guessing the catalogue description hasn't been updated, 14 years ago the SC maple snare was 9ply/5mm and the Artwood was 6ply/8mm!!

Perhaps someone might move it
