Anyone watch this? Copeland was on there the other night. That Barry dude has connections. Stewart bought an old zildjian from him for $40, I'm sure Paiste was thrilled. LOL

I saw that as well. Wasn't really paying that much attention until I heard "drums" and "Police" in the same sentence. I had to pause the show to check out Copeland's room. Barry must be a high roller.

I am a huge fan of Storage Wars and Barry is my fave character on the show....but I have to say, that was some of the most Producer manipulated Crap I have ever seen. Don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE stewart Copeland Fan and have been since the Police first came out in the 70's but I was a bit disappointed at Stew's level of drum knowledge when he was making all the procalmations sitting at Barry's storage found Ludwig Accent Kit...he almost sounded like a "Drum Whisperer"...Somebody was a working drummer that had this kit, they loved this kit enough to have 3 matching snares....blah blah blah. Stewart also way over-valued the kit when he said $1000-$1500. That drum kit was a beginner level, made in China Ludwig Accent kit which barely sold for $650 new.....For what they valued the kit at, you could go out and buy a Pro-Level Ludwig Classic Maple, Tama Birch/Bubinga kit. Plus the fact that Barry asked Stewart to sign each drum???????.....and he signed the on the outside on the finish. Why would a lifelong Tama endorser sign a China-Made Firewood Ludwig Kit when he doesn't even play the brand. Back before the Police hit it big, Stewart played a Ludwig Vistalite Kit but that was eons ago. Sure, drummers like to -- about everything and it was all for entertainment's sake....but this was the most "staged" reality show I have ever seen on Storage Wars. Barry is still one cool dude and Stewart is still one of my heros but I can't watch that episode again. :)Naughty Naughty

Barry is def my favorite as well. He's been on fire lately, funny as hell. You're right, there was a high level of bogosity in that segment.

Funny thing is after they have an episode with, say, ATVs, you just know there are posts on ATV forums ripping them for not knowing wth they are talking about lol. Which makes you wonder about everything on the show.

Also saw Barry one time take a guitar(s) to the guitarist for Aeorsmith.

I totally agree with sandman. Those Ludwigs were junk, waaaay over valued and there is no way in hell Stewart couldn't find any cymbal on the planet and pay top dollar for it. "Oh my God I've been looking for this cymbal my entire career". BS! It was totally staged because Barry never makes any dough on anything he buys! He is definitely the coolest dude on the show tho!

I have to admit, it was pretty cool to see Stewart's play room...with the Octobans finished to match his kit.

Never saw the episode but yeah - just because you are a famous drummer does not mean you are an expert on what gear is worth! When is the last time Stewart had to buy anything drum related??

There are probably more experts on this forum on what things are worth than there are on ANY drum company's artist roster. However who would the average t.v. viewer rather watch? Yep a famous drummer.

Yey I was surprised when Stew said that. It was still cool that drums got a nice shout out on such a popular show.
Barry would make more money if he stopped throwing everything in the locker on the ground;)
