The concert toms that Tama had on display at NAMM looked great.

I know that you can special order them still (with a long lead time of 6 months or more) but it would be nice to see them back as a regular production item in the catalogue.

Perhaps Tom or Matthew could ear bash the powers that be in Japan ....

Tom..give it your best shot.... I play a set of almost mint 78' ImperialStar's - Saturn 12+1 with concert toms.

skinned with Remos weatherking coated emperor skins. a few zerOrings here and there and they sound deep, dark & rich, with awesome
projection & volume. Concert toms are every bit as good as tom toms with the right skins and tuning.

Definately, they add extra voices to your kit and they sound great.
