Hey all, I've come across a Starclassic Performer EFX. What, specifically, is EFX? Is it an older "limited edition" just like the "Elite" bubingas? I've also seen SC maple EFX ... so it doesn't just signify a performer/birch kit? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

EFX means its a wrap and not a lacquer finish. For a brief period Tama made some maple EFX kits.
