Hello all! I am a newbie to the forum and to Tama drums! Well I have a question, im hoping someone can help me with. I just purchased a starclassic bb, off of Craigslist. but when I look around i cant find my config.

Shattered Turquoise Finish
Kick is a virgin 22x20
10, 12, 14 and 16 with a matching 14x5.5 snare

Everywhere I look all I see is 22x18 kicks with most having the tom mount in the kick. Can someone clarify what kit I have please. Also I am assuming this finish is a wrap correct? I am seriously considering removing the wrap and refinishing in a natural clear satin.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the board, nootoo!

As far as this can be answered by the facts you delivered, everything you said seems to be correct to me.

The Starclassic B/B Bass Drums are available in diameters from 20" to 24" with 18" depth, the 22" is the only one also available in 20" depth. All BDs are possibly to order with or without tom mount. And right, 'Shattered Turquoise' is a wrap finish, what makes your set a Starclassic Performer B/B EFX.

The Article No. for your Bass Drum is PLB22XZ-STQ.

For any further information some pics would be helpful. And appreciated, anyway..!

Cheers, cloth

OK, here is some more information:

Your kit seems to be the Starclassic Performer B/B EFX Standard Basic Kit in Hyper Drive Tom Sizes. The catalogue no. is PX62HXz2-STQ.
It consists of 22"x20"BD w/o Tom Mount, 10"x6.5" + 12"x7" Rack Toms, 14"x12" + 16"x14" Floor Toms, and the already stated 14"x5,5" SD (all sizes 'diameter x depth'), all drums in wrap finish 'Shattered Turquoise'.
Included hardware is two MTH900AS Tom Holders w/two MC61 Multi Clamps. No other hardware is part of the kit.

Hope that helps.

Great set btw! Clap

Thanks for your reply! What do you think the retail value would be on this kit? Is $1700 to much? It is in mint condition with new Evans G2 heads and an onyx emad on the kick. Thanks

Hard to tell for me, since I live in Germany. Here, the complete kit new stock would be around € 2150,- which is about US$ 2800,- if I'm not totally wrong. So, $ 1700,- for the kit in excellent condition sounds OK to me. But maybe the kit is much less expensive in the US (in other cases like the Starphonic Snare Drums I know about that), then $ 1700 could be to much...
