Hi Guys and Girls.

I speak from Brazil.

I have a 1974 TAMA CRYSTAR (pic below).

She has several problems, but love solves everything. So let's work!

I want you to follow this "resuscitation".

STEP ONE: I'll redo the drums with a Brazilian manufacturer of acrylic drums. I'll take my broken pieces for ensuring compliance with all original measurements.... Still do not know the price of it.

We will always steps!

EXTRA STEP (shopping): I need 8 (eight) bass drum lugs. Does anyone know a seller of these lugs? Is there another model that has Tama lugs equal to the original Tama Crystar?

Tks.

I believe it will be a pleasure to lovers of drums follow it.

I really need your help and I am very grateful.

JOAO PAULO

from Brazil (TAMA CRYSTAR 1974)

I shall have to find the pics of my early 80's RoyalStar Kit! Was my first Tama Kit I had ever Bought! Started out as a 5 piece and grew to an 8 piece! Great sounding kit! Did get to do some recordings with it before I sold it when I was in the Navy! I'll try to post some images of her!
