Here's an interesting kit setup:
http://youtu.be/iQnxGppzGtM

And at about 5:40 it sounds like his snare detunes. :(

Very different setup...and yes, his snare sounds like its detuning throughout the vid imo...Think

If anyone like drum circles in the middle of Canada, they might enjoy this movie:
"A Drummer's Dream" on Netflix
https://www.netflix.com/title/80084832

The footage of Mangini looks sped up, but it's just him doing his thing.

Last night I found the DVD set of The Kids Are Alright and watched it. What really stood out to me was how gentle Keith Moon was when hitting his cymbals. Most of the time they barely moved on the stand, yet his sound was full of cymbals. And in addition to a little-used hi hat, he place a cymbal directly above it and used that as his ride.

Keith's playing wouldn't stand up to the YouTube scrutiny we have today. He was sloppy and never played the same thing twice, but it was obvious that he was the engine that powered the train.

Well, here's a full vid from our show this past Saturday. WARNING: the person who videoed for me had the mic on the camera turned up to high, so its not the cleanest, but it was our first show and its all I have! Wall Wall
Also there's a track listing in the desciption so you can jump around if you'd like.

Y'all have a great groove! Keep it up!

I immediately saw the bassist & keyboard player smiling, but it wasn't until 4:45 that the drummer smiled. I wonder if his wife was whispering into his headset.

WOW! Lots of great videos and players here, man. NICE!

I am not up-there as far as drumming ability, but I can share some vids...

A gig from 4-5 years ago w/ me on vocals:
https://youtu.be/l4wS3jJZ7gk

and a jam from about a year ago here in my basement:
https://youtu.be/NIdzkFs9v74?t=1m16s - (I skipped some wimpier tunes and anchored the video on some Zep)

Keep the videos coming. Love hearing what you all do...!!! Great stuff.
