Been able to find that this kit would be around 1984 with Mahogany shells, vertical grain.

8-ply Philippine mahogany shells, similar sound to Swingstar, but no Zola coat inside. Satin lacquered Shina veneer on the outside, definitely 84 or 85 from the lugs, the matching bass drum hoops (16" depth) and tack-on badge on the 12. Oddball jazz depth 12", there were all 11" deep power toms to my knowledge with those lugs and the 16-deep bass drum. I'd be weary of a hack cut job on the bottom bearing edge, but bonus points if it is factory. A bit pricey for a 3-piece. Typically, individual prices are around $75 per shell for common sizes.

quite a few of the bass claws are non-tama in those pics.

...be very weary of Guitar Center too.
