Hi everyone, I'm Jim from Hastings - England.

I've been lurking for a few months now and have learnt a lot in that time, so a
BIG THANK YOU!
to everyone who posts.

After playing drums in various band for 15 or so years I have finally purchased my first Tama kit.

It's not that I hadn't wanted a Tama kit before, just that I was always offered an unbelievable offer on another kit when it was time to replace the current one.

However, this time I was determined to have the kit I wanted and after watching it on ebay for over a year, my wife finally agreed to let me have it.

Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to play it until, I get a new job which will help to pay for my dream kit or my 40th birthday in September.

However, it does mean that I'm the proud owner of a brand new Masai Warlord kitDance

This will be complimented with my 14 Paiste Sig. cymbals, a Gibraltar rack and various other noisy toys that I have on my kit.

Cheers,
Jim

Oh yes, it does - just like you do to the farmers daughters..! (To my apology: I didn't get what that means. I don't understand a single word of what's standing here - I'm from Germany! Sorry...)

Hi guys, thanks for the welcome,
I'll try to get some pics soon, altough it won't be a complete set up, probably just the drums on a rack as I'm still using my cymbals and most of the hardware on my other kit.

Ron from Cleveland here, couldn't log onto this forum for quite some time, and couldn't get a password reset. Glad to see it's been improved, and glad to be back. I'm still gigging my piano white superstars in a couple different configurations. Always a 4 pc, but tom sizes vary. Don't hate me, but I had a 12 and 13" power toms ("Extras") cut down by Precision drum, and I'm much happier with the results; easier tuning, easier placement. Love the old Superstars!
rh

I have an 8x9" vintage Superstar tom in piano white, exc cond, badge is loose though. May consider an offer....
