The forum members spoke. They requested a sticky thread in the Starclassic forum for specific Starclassic lines. So here it is. Rock on. <br /> <br /><strong><em><u>2006 Emerald Sea Fade</u></em></strong> <br /> <br /><img src="http://www.tamadrum.co.jp/world/products/drum_kit/starclassic_p/color/02-SP42NFS-ESF.jpg" border="0"> <br /> <br /><strong><em><u>2006 Antique Sunburst</u></em></strong> <br /> <br /><img src="http://www.tamadrum.co.jp/world/products/drum_kit/starclassic_p/color/SP3-ATS.jpg" border="0"> <br /> <br /><strong><em><u>2006 Red Sparkle Fade</u></em></strong> <br /> <br /><img src="http://www.tamadrum.co.jp/world/products/drum_kit/starclassic_p/color/SP34ZS-RSF.jpg" border="0">

I just got the first kit shown in red sparkle fade. Just brought her
home and tuned her up. I will try to post pics in the next few days. I
am so freaking excited. I do have a question ....what line of zildjian
cymbals sound good with this line.&nbsp; I am new with birch.

I would look at any of their "professional" lines. Pick the ones you like best. Don't dismiss Sabian or Paiste either...both fine cymbal makers.
How can anybody be enlightened?
Truth is, after all, so poorly lit.

I've already sent that to the picture thread but since my kit is a Starclassic Performer, here it is again!<br><br><br>Very glad to finally see a drum forum on the Tama site! I have been
playing Tama since 1989, always with great satisfaction. I currently
have a large indigo blue Starclassic Performer kit, arranged in a setup
similar to Neil Peart, including a back kit Roland V-session in a
blue-purple finish. I absolutely LOVE this kit, for the sound, for the
look, and for the fun! Tama, always the best....<br><br>Here's a small picture:<br><br><br><img src="uploads/Astrotama/2006-02-21_225339_tama7.jpg" border="0" border="0"><br><br>Bigger pictures and more details here:<br><br>http://www.cfht.hawaii.edu/~martin/drumset.html

Thanks&nbsp;<img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0">. I wish to get another
bassdrum eventually, but right now I need money for a cheaper practice-kit... so
it will have to take a bit longer than expected... But a 7x8" tom and
another bassdrum is definately on the wishlist&nbsp;<img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0">.

Any line of zildjian cymbal will sound good with any kit, not just birch. It all comes down to your personal preference and what kind of music you play.I own a starclassic birch and my cymbals are as follows. All zildjian- 16''inch A custom projection crashes x2, 18''inch Z custom medium crash, 20''inch A custom ping ride,18''inch A swish.
