It could also be that nobody wants to pay a ton of money for limited finishes and sizes all because their drums don't have to be turned over to be fully tuned.

Ever tried the omni-tuning system? I had my doubts at first but now I can't live without it. Worth every penny. The natural bubinga finish is totally exquisit!

Kit this big...in the studio... You kiss ass to the omni tune... just check the tune, and re-tune it very simple :) WORTH ALLL THE PENNIES DUDE!!! I love my kit...and the finish... is bizzare ;)

Yeah these kits are incredible, I'm not in the market for a new kit any time soon, but if I was, this would be a consideration. Some beautiful finishes too!
