I have the new Imperialstar, but my Bass Drum head doesn't have an "Imperialstar" logo. Just the Tama logo.

Didn't Stewart Copeland play a tama imperialstar back in the day with the police? He's stuck with tama drums all these years which is pretty cool, gotta love that guy!

Yes, but those Imperialstars were more of a "pro" line then. I have two old kits and still love 'em.
A question about the new Imps...is the plastic wrap as easy to remove as the 'recent' Swingstars?

Guys! I just found a really cool hot pink set of Tama vintage Imperial Star series. I have tried researching their value but have been unable to find any like these. Do any of you out there happen to have any idea what this entire set including hardware is worth? Its late 70's, near mint condition. Ginny attached the following image(s):

rare colour?
any good when bought?

eg. hot pink rare
eg. tama always good but not topline
eg someone could just want a quick 400
and get a better kit or, it could be there fav
