The old thread was diluted with random HTML code that made everything difficult to read.
This is the new Bubinga thread. Starting fresh is sometimes easier than cleaning up the past.

Just noticed that no pics of SCM kits show in any posts since November of 07 in the original Starclassic Maple thread. Some of you may have seen pics of this kit already but I just thought I'd breathe a little life into this new thread by adding some pics. Maybe some of you guys also have pics in the old thread that don't show anymore? Why not put em up here!

I agree with Thunder! Everything makes a lot more sence and it's really user friendly, plus the spam is goneClap

And thank you for commenting my kit! Please can we have some more SCM kits in this thread Pray The new Bubinga thread has a head start and the forum needs more maple Happy

Piano black with black nickel hardware is one of the greatest finish combos ever. You never get tired of it. It's simple, classy, and METAL.

Although it looks cool, GRP isn't my thing. I love the setup though.

Thanx Poly!

Yeah I love that kit! A salesman at a local drumstore wanted me to trade them in for a B/B EFX kit recently but I just can't part ways with it.. Oh, and if I haven't mentioned it somewhere on here before (I probaly have, haha..): it was used by Kenny Aronoff on tour with Fogerty in ´97, then I had a drum off with Mike Portnoy on it in our biggest drum store where he had a signing session six months later, which led me to buy it..

Stefan, nice kit.

Same colors and sizes that I'm working on getting. If you had a second kick and an 8x8" it would be identical.
Your rack toms are 10x10 and 12x11" right?

In your opinion is the Performer line good enough compared to Maple? Seems like compromising features and options to save money.
Is the quality of shell production as good as the top of the lines?
